Murree Tabaq Restaurant

This place is one of the best in Murree. A bit pricey than the ones available in Murree but the taste compensates for it. Chicken Seekh Kabab and Garlic Naan were really good. Biryani was surprisingly good too. Recommended!

Desi Place with good desi food. Ordered Chicken acharai handi and white chicken boneless handi which was good and quantity was too good. Ambience is just ok. Overall experience was good. Kids enjoyed the food and most importantly did not gwt sick.

I ordered chicken karahi, chicken tikka, and chapli kebab. The chicken karahi tasted really good—flavorful and yummy . However, the chicken tikka was overcooked on the outside and undercooked on the inside, which was quite disappointing. The chapli kebab was just average. When I complained about the chicken tikka, the staff acknowledged their mistake and kindly offered us chicken biryani as compensation. Surprisingly, the biryani was amazing and made up for the earlier disappointment. I appreciate their effort to make things right.

One of the oldest restaurants onthe Mall Road in Muree. It is perfect family restaurant. Having eaten mostly horrible and rich food in Muree....wanted to have light home made style daal chawal. We were told to go to Tabaq for that - very pleased we did. The staff was kind enough to make kachumar for us to go with the daal chawal. They did ask us if we wanted spicy - word of caution - spicy is really spicy! Would have been great of they had shami kebab or aaloo tikki to go with it.... Hot the spot and really recommend.
